  1. So what happened to finally playing Doom, Scott? Are we still going to get to it? I’d like to hear the virgin experience of a new Doom player, especially someone who gets both games to “suffer” through.

My virgin experiences lately (original Starcraft I and Warcraft III) are on hold though, since I am back trying to finish an old DS game I’m determined to get through. The World Ends With You. My friends are tired of waiting for me and avoiding spoilers on it.

  3. Woah! Virgin Doom player? Dude, I played Doom from the beta test level in 1991 right up until the 360 version a year or two ago. When did I say I was a Doom virgin? Not only did I play Doom to death, I made something in the range of 15 of my own levels, custom sound effects, etc. I won cash in a death-match contest one weekend in 1994. I actually waited in line to buy Doom 3.

Where did you get this info? ;)

  4. I hate it when I have to say this but Brian is right :) In high school I played it a couple of times and honestly was more into adventure games than FPS. So while technically I played it, I don’t count it since it wasn’t much more than a blip compared to most Doom players.

  5. Hey guys, at the risk of asking for something that may already be there, do the odd mods get links posted? I know there was at least one Torchlight mod mentioned that I was interested in that I can’t remember now.

  6. OK maybe I’m a total noob but can’t find any show notes info with details about the torchlight mods that were discussed. Especially hard to find any hi res texture mods that look reputable. I found pretty much everything else discussed at http://www.runicgamesfansite.com but no obvious/easy to find ui/texture mods.
