Hey! Why not leave us a nice review on iTunes if you like the show?
Brian, wouldn’t the Balance Board be the foot controller?
And thanks for mentioning about Lead and Gold; looks awesome, and will definitely pick it up in the future (Computer went on the fritz).

I can see the balance board working for kicking. But it would be nice if it could tell how high you were kicking. I’m sure the weight shift that is picked up on the balance board would for sure tell that you picked up one of your legs. But c’mon. Shoe’s with Wii controllers in them. I’d buy that.

In some ways, the balance board has been used for kicking (sort of) with one of Wii Fit’s activities called Advance Step, and maybe some extent one of their new ones, from Plus, Kung Fu.
Other than that, I think the idea of controllers being plugged inside a shoe is a little silly.

(retro game)I’ve been playing Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri recently which is always interesting. if you’ve never heard of it, it’s essentially the actual sequel to the Civilization games (specifically the ending where you build and launch a space ship to colonize another planet). disaster and mutiny leads to the colonists splitting up into ideology based factions before using the escape pods(Environmentalists, Scientists, Socialists, Capitalists, Theists, Politicians, and War mongers). Particularly I like how the technology advances, structures, and wonders, all come with quotes from the various faction leaders discussing the development of once lost scientific knowledge on a new planet. example:
“Planet’s atmosphere, though a gasping death to humans and most animals, is paradise for Earth plants. The high nitrate content of the soil and the rich yellow sunlight bring an abundant harvest wherever adjustments can be made for the unusual soil conditions.”
